Acceptable Use Policy

What you can — and absolutely cannot — do on this platform.

This policy applies to all users of AbandonedAssetsOS. Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension, prize forfeiture, and referral to law enforcement. We take platform integrity seriously because fraudulent activity harms every legitimate user on the platform.

Prohibited Content Strictly Prohibited

The following types of content are prohibited on AbandonedAssetsOS. Submitting prohibited content is grounds for immediate account termination:

  • Fake, fictitious, or fabricated property listings of any kind
  • Inflated or misrepresented ARV (After Repair Value) numbers
  • Fabricated deal histories, manufactured comparables, or false transaction records
  • Fake buyer profiles, ghost buyers, or straw buyer arrangements
  • Misleading pricing, bait-and-switch listings, or intentionally deceptive offers
  • Content designed to deceive other platform users into unfavorable transactions
  • Unlicensed legal or financial advice presented as professional guidance

Prohibited Behavior Strictly Prohibited

The following behaviors are prohibited on and related to the AbandonedAssetsOS platform:

  • Sending spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or unsolicited commercial communications to other platform users
  • Harassment, intimidation, threats, or any abusive communications directed at other users or platform staff
  • Automated scraping, crawling, or extraction of platform data without express written authorization
  • Using bots, fake accounts, coordinated manipulation, or artificial means to gain advantage in competitions or platform rankings
  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent suspension, account limits, or competition rules
  • Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary platform algorithms or source code
  • Interfering with or attempting to disrupt platform infrastructure, security, or availability

Fair Housing Act Compliance — Mandatory

All activity on AbandonedAssetsOS must comply with the Fair Housing Act (42 U.S.C. §§ 3601–3619) and all applicable state and local fair housing laws. Discrimination in any aspect of a real estate transaction — including advertising, deal offers, buyer targeting, or communications — is strictly prohibited based on:

Fair housing violations reported to AbandonedAssetsOS will result in immediate account termination and referral to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Identity & Verification Requirements Required

All users must provide accurate identity and business information when creating an account and throughout their use of the platform. Specifically:

  • Use your real legal name or verified business entity name
  • Provide a valid, working email address you own and control
  • Use your real business entity information for any transaction-related activities
  • Impersonating any individual person, business, or organization
  • Using another person's name, likeness, or identity on the platform
  • Providing false or misleading registration information

Identity misrepresentation is grounds for immediate account termination and may constitute fraud under applicable state and federal law.

Intellectual Property Strictly Prohibited

You may only upload, post, or share content to which you hold all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions. The following are prohibited:

  • Uploading or sharing copyrighted content without authorization from the rights holder
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract platform algorithms, matching logic, or proprietary scoring methodologies
  • Screen-scraping platform data for use in competing products, services, or for competitive intelligence
  • Using platform data to build or train competing machine learning models
  • Reproducing platform interfaces, features, or design elements without authorization

AbandonedAssetsOS respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. DMCA takedown notices may be submitted to legal@abandonedassets.live.


Consequences of Violations

Enforcement actions are escalated based on the severity and frequency of violations. AbandonedAssetsOS reserves the right to skip steps and proceed directly to permanent ban or legal referral for severe violations.

Additional consequences that may apply in specific circumstances:

  • Competition prize forfeiture for any rule violations discovered before or after prize award
  • Clawback of awarded prizes where violation is determined to have affected competition results
  • Full cooperation with law enforcement investigations, including disclosure of account information pursuant to valid legal process
  • Civil claims for damages, including recovery of costs incurred in investigating and responding to violations

Report Violations

If you witness or suspect a violation of this Acceptable Use Policy — including fraud, harassment, fake listings, or Fair Housing violations — report it immediately. All reports are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team.
